Our 24-hour remote video monitoring station based in its secure facility is the nerve center of its unique IP enabled service. On receipt of a security alert the live camera images is passed onto a highly trained operator to assess the situation presented and act on it as per the client’s instructions contained in the associated database. During the alert the images are retained in a secure manner for possible future reference. The
monitoring center will also review recorded video to help catch daytime theft.

Video Management Software

Netways Canada has strategically partnered with Canadian Network Systems Group (CNSG), the developers of the DETEXI Network Video Management System currently being used by numerous sensitive sites throughout Europe, Canada and the USA.

Netways Canada utilizes the DETEXI Intelligent IP Video Surveillance Software to compliment network cameras and video servers to provide video monitoring, recording and event management

functions. DETEXI provides live, real-time event recording or the option to automatically ARCHIVE FILES for later review. Netways Canada can record video continuously, on schedule, on alarm and/or on motion detection. The event notification module interacts with authorized personnel via the Internet, pager and mobile telephone to insure that an event has been acknowledged. Pre alarm buffering and on/off site storage provide the user with a protected record of what has happened and how it happened.
The software has multiple search functions for recorded events. Remote viewing and playback is also possible by customers using a DETEXI Client.

How do operators know if there are intruders on the site?
When you arm the system the various sensors on the site become active. Any intrusion creates an alarm condition which instantly sends an alert to our monitoring station where an operator receives the live video feed from the site.

What happens in the event of a break in?
Immediately at the point of our beams being broken, DETEXI software performs several tasks automatically. First, it sends an alert to our monitoring station for authentication and processing. Then an operator receives a live video feed from your business and a file containing your specific instructions. The operator will then act in accordance with
those instructions.

How will I find out if any incidents had happened on my site?
An integral part of Netways Canada is the reporting facility. Clients are notified of all serious events and appropriate action is taken. You can then access the archived video from any High Speed Internet connection and see exactly what happened and how it was responded to.

What do I need to make this work for me?
The first requirement of this system is a stable reasonably high speed connection to the Internet with a static IP address which is readily available throughout Canada. The strength of this system is that we can utilize almost all of your existing equipment, if you have already made an investment in CCTV.

What are the hidden expenses when I purchase this service?
At Netways Canada we pride ourselves in offering the total package to our clients without hidden expenses. We do not back bill, up charge or surprise invoice our clients based on incidents.
