Wireless Infrastructure
“Wireless” is a widely used term to
describe many different technologies driving different
applications. It can mean cellular telephone licensed
frequency, R.F. warehouse bar-coding and scanning
and R.F.I.D. (Radio Frequency Identification), fire/police/ambulance
licensed frequency, microwave back haul technology,
satellite communications, un-licensed R.F. LAN and
unlicensed R.F. WAN (building to building or multi
building).
Today’s wireless technology can greatly
increase a business’s mobility, flexibility
and add the capability to start “layering”
applications on to their wireless infrastructure.
